GOLDEN ALGAE EATER GYRINOCHEILUS AYMO is one of the most well-known fish in the aquarium.It is found in large areas of Southeast Asia and southern parts of China. Germany was the first to export this egg in 1956 for the aquarium, but in its home countries , it is used as fish food.
This fish is very desirable by many people involved in aquariums. Although it is not the prettiest of all the other fish, it is mainly appreciated for its ability to keep the aquarium free of algae. It does a very good job at it when it is in its young adolescence, but as it matures its dietary preferences begin to change. He will start looking for different foods . There are many other aspects to keeping this fish besides a change in diet. These include its size its personality during its cohabitation with other fish.
The wild coloration of this fish is quite variable. Most often they will have yellowish color on their sides and brownish color on top. There is a noticeable black stripe down the length of their sides. This stripe is often broken and there may be black spots along the length of its back and on the fluke of its tail.
