This American Eleocharis is a green-coloured grass, grows to a height of 20-40cm and does not need much maintenance.Each needle is only a few millimetres thick and the plant maintains an open growth form. It is suitable as a background plant and can be planted front and centre in the aquarium.The plant spreads through runners, which occasionally need to be cut back and perhaps planted elsewhere.
