Puntius Denisoni

It belongs to the family Cyprinidae and is known as the Red Lined Torpedo Barb or Rose Line Shark. It is longer compared to other barbs. The coloration of this fish is silver with a black stripe running along its body and a red line near its eyes. It also has a red stripe on its dorsal fin and yellow and black accents at the tail end. In contrast to other barbs, this is a peaceful fish and should be kept in an aquarium with a lid as they have a tendency to jump. In the wild, they are found in swiftly flowing streams and appreciate a high level of oxygen in the aquarium water.
