With the new professionalel 4+ series, EHEIM again sets high standards in aquarium filter technology. Many of the details and useful functions have been taken over from the previous filter model, the professionalel 3. The most impressive feature of the new professionel 4+ external filter is the "Xtender" emergency button. This button makes it possible to have a little more time until the next cleaning of the external filter takes place. Who among us aquarists is not aware of this problem? Always when we have the minimum amount of time, the water performance is low and the filter is blocked calling for immediate cleaning. Using the emergency "Xtender" button will buy you a few more days without any negative effect on the biological filtration capacity. The gradually adjustable Xtender knob causes the water to partially pass around the small filter into the filter system so that water efficiency is restored and the aquarium filter operates as normal. The new EHEIM professionalel 4+ and its accessories are installed in a modern anthracite colour. In addition to this, the EHEIM professionalel 4+ retains many useful details familiar from its predecessor, including the integrated suction aid for starting the filter, integrated shut-off valves, large volume pre-cleaner, safety hose adapter and Easy-Clean operation.
