Bucephalandra sp. 'Red' is very similar to Anubias and should be treated in the same way.

"Red" works best at lower light levels and is very easy to grow. The leaves are very dark green or leathery red in colour. Many tiny, white dots and sometimes a faint, metallic, blue color will appear on the submerged leaves. The leaf size is 2-4 cm wide, 4-6 cm long and usually has wavy edges.

Do not completely cover the rootstock when planting. This will cause the plant to rot and die.
