Xenia Corals

Xenia is a genus of photosynthetic soft coral in the family Xeniidae. They resemble a mushroom, with "arms" coming out of the top that end in several arms. It is unique among corals because of its ability to use its "arms" to "pulse" or move water away from the colony in a continuous, predatory motion.
