Hygrophila 'Compact' potted

A very compact variety of Hygrophila corymbosa, with leaves close to the stem.
It develops many lateral shoots, enhancing its compact appearance.The leaves are dark brown to green when the plant leaves the nursery, but after a transitional period in the aquarium they change to light green and silvery-white at the bottom. In strong light the newer leaves are reddish brown and in time the older leaves die; new shoots are often formed to replace the old ones.
