Cabomba is a very popular aquarium plant from South America because of its beautiful foliage. It reaches 30-80 cm and each stem can be 5-8 cm wide. It requires a lot of light and still has problems in low-lit aquariums. If there is not enough light, try Limnophila sessiliflora, which requires less light.
It is eaten locally as a vegetable.
For stem plants, remove the leaves from the lowest 5 cm. Remove any damaged leaves. Plant the individual plants with some spacing in the lower substrate. Roots will soon develop and the plant will start to grow.
