Aquaforest KH BUFFER 1200g

A factor in maintaining a stable level of carbonate hardness in reef aquariums.The exact level of carbonate hardness is essential for stabilising pH levels.The recommended KH level in reef aquariums is 6.5-8.0 dKH.

Dosage: dissolve 80 g of KH buffer in 1000 ml of RODI water. The dosage should be determined by the results of water tests and daily coral consumption.Before applying the KH buffer solution to the water, it is recommended to perform a water test to check the current water parameters.
The maximum daily dose is 20 ml per 100 litres of water. 20 ml of KH buffer solution increases the KH level in 100 litres of water by 0,5 dKH.
The product is also suitable for occasional use for one-time increase of the KH level.10 g of KH buffer in 100 litres of water increases the KH level by approximately 3.3 dKH (Alk 1.18 meg/l). We do not recommend increasing the KH level by more than 0.5 dKH per day. In order to maintain ionic balance, calcium, magnesium and reef salts should also be applied. It contains NaHCO3. US: Dissolve 1.28 cups of product in 1 US gal of deionized water.
