AmGuard removes toxic free ammonia. It is safe to use and is ideal for emergency response.It works within minutes to detoxify free ammonia and does not degrade for approximately 72 hours. This is at least twice as long as our competitors' products. Unlike competing products, AmGuard converts it into a safe, non-toxic form that is easily removed from the aquarium's biological filter.
It does not alter the pH. Ammonia can exist in two forms: free and ionised. Only the free form is toxic.
AmGuard also removes chlorine and chloramines.

Directions:
Use 5 mL for every 200 L daily or as required to reduce ammonia.
To remove 1 mg/L (ppm) of free ammonia use 1 cap (5 mL) for every 40 L
If the water temperature is above 30 °C do not use.
