Rotala macrandra 1-2-Grow!

Rotala macrandra is an exceptionally beautiful aquarium plant, but unfortunately it is very demanding. It needs very good lighting to develop a beautiful red colour, and the addition of CO2 and soft water is vital to ensure growth. It is most beautiful in groups, but don't plant it too close together, as this will prevent light from reaching the lower leaves. To ensure good colour there must be sufficient trace elements in the water.
