Nitrogen is one of the most important macronutrients essential for plants.The presence of nitrogen affects the growth of the plant, its reproduction and the green colouring of the leaves.Proper nitrogen supplementation is essential as both deficiency and excess can be harmful to plants.Nitrogen deficiency causes growth inhibition, chlorosis and yellowing of leaves and further browning.Excess nitrogen, on the other hand, is manifested by excessive growth, dark green leaves, and the plant is very sensitive and less hardy.The appropriate nitrate level in the plant tank should be 10-20 mg/l. Nitrogen is absorbed by plants mainly in the form of nitrate and ammonia; AF N Boost contains forms of mineral nitrogen that are well absorbed by aquatic plants.

HOW TO USE:
10 ml of AF N Boost dissolved in 100 litres of water increases the nitrate level by 9.5 mg/l. Recommended for use in parallel with AF Micro, AF PO4 Boost and AF K Boost.Do not use with other nitrogen containing formulas due to the risk of excessive plant growth and algae blooms.
