A protozoan parasite, also known as white spot disease, is caused by the external parasite Ichthyophthirius multifiliis. This tiny parasite has multiple life stages and is invisible during its phase. It causes severe electrolyte losses, secondary bacterial and fungal infections. The first symptoms of this infection in fish include scratching on gravel. Fish exhibit heavy breathing and may remain at the water surface near filters and aeration devices. White spots may or may not be visible on the fish. SUPER ICK CURE kills the Ick parasite, usually within 24 hours and is safe for use in freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

Use the dosage cap on the bottle. Remove the activated carbon from the filter. Add 5 ml per 19 litres of water. Repeat the dosage after 48 hours. Wait another 48 hours, change the 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon.

ATTENTION: Some saltwater invertebrates, such as corals, may be sensitive to this product, so it is not recommended for reef aquariums.
