Test Tropical NO2 Test  intended for the measurement of nitrite (NO2-) concentration in the range 0.0-3.3 mg/l in fresh and salt water. It is convenient and extremely easy to use. A drop of water is added to the relevant reagent solution until the colour of the sample changes, then it should be compared with the colour scale provided.

The sources of nitrite are fish extracts, unwanted food and other organic waste that accumulate in the aquarium and are broken down by bacteria. The nitrite concentration in the aquarium should be zero, as it is very dangerous for the fish. The highest nitrite concentration is usually found in new, overfilled tanks or after treatment with bactericidal agents. For further water inspection we recommend other Tropical tests.
