Phyllanthus fluitans is native to the American tropics and is a floating plant part of the family Phyllanthaceae.
It is similar to Salvinia, differing only in the structure of the monoads in each node. The water-repellent heart-shaped leaves hide the stem, which can sometimes give rise to white flowers with six petals. The more intense the light, the browner the leaves will become. Sustainable cultivation in Denmark.
