The Oranda is a favourite goldfish of the Oranda variety.This beautiful goldfish has a large, round body with glistening scales as long and separated tail fin as all Oranda varieties.
Unlike the common goldfish, with its long slender body, this fancy goldfish is one of the more rounded or egg-shaped goldfish.Redcap Oranda is completely white, except for a red hood on its head, which looks exactly like a cap. All the fins are in pairs except the dorsal fin and tail fin.
The exogoma on their head is a fleshy growth known as a wen. The wen will begin to show when the fish is about 3 - 4 months old, but it really starts to form in about 1-2 years and will be fully developed in 2 - 2 1/2 years.
