Aponogeton crispus from Sri Lanka show well in any aquarium with its light green, transparent leaves. It has leaves of 25-50 cm and the plant grows to a width of 15-25 cm. It has some requirements, although growth is always best in soft, slightly acidic water with a nutritious substrate. Under these conditions the plant produces a mass of leaves and very often flowers in optimal conditions.Aponogeton crispus is generally found in ponds that fill with water during the rainy season.
