Anubias barteri 'Coffeefolia' potted

Anubias barteri var. coffeefolia is a very beautiful, low variety of Anubias barteri. The height of the plant reaches 15-25 cm.

It is characteristic that the leaves are dark green in colour but the young leaves that will emerge have a brown tint. The combination of colours and leaf shape make it an attractive variety for both large and small aquariums. It often flowers under water but does not produce seeds there.

It is a mid-zone plant

Anubias species seem to grow so slowly that they don't realize they have sunk.

Not eaten by herbivorous fish.

It is considered one of the easiest aquarium plants and lives in very little light.
