The Aquael Filter Set KLARJET 5000 provides mechanical and chemical filtration and is suitable for ponds up to 5000 litres. The set includes the PFN 3500 l/h pump with fountain attachment, connection hose, UV lamp and bucket with filtering materials. The bucket has a 1/2 inch water inlet and 2 outlets with 3/4 inch and 1 inch. It purifies water from visible micro particles and neutralizes ammonia. Kills suspended algae, pathogenic bacteria and protozoa. Guarantees clean water within 14 days of operation. 24-hour continuous operation is recommended. It is for outdoor use only.

FILTER INSIDE:
The KLARJET filter is supplied with a phenol-free sponge and laminated polystyrene balls.

The phenol-free sponge is used for mechanical filtration. In addition, it is a particularly favourable environment for the growth of bacterial cultures responsible for the removal of biological contaminants from the tank.

Polystyrene balls have special ribs and spouts. Their action is based on the modulation of aerobic conditions for biochemical processes. On their outer surface, the aerobic conditions are favourable for the oxidation of organic compounds.

FUNCTION
The KLARJET filter set ensures effective mechanical and biological filtration and sterilization of water. The dense sponge removes solid impurities from the water. Nitrogen compounds dissolved in the water are successfully oxidized by nitrifying bacteria that multiply on the surface of the bio-spheres. The powerful UV sterilizer directly solves the problem of floating algae and harmful bacteria and protozoa.

KLARJET filter sets are designed for installation on the outside of ponds. This solution has the advantage of easy access for maintenance. Besides, the filter does not take up space in the pond that could be used by plants and fish. The filter container supplied with the KLARJET filter set has an overflow spout to protect it from overflowing.

When the filter is in operation, the treated water flows through the lower openings of the filter and into the hoses that carry it back to the pond.
